the location of the hotel was fab, close to all amenities. It was just off a restaurant, the Canal which is being restored and the centre of the town. 3. the staff was affable and attentive, and the owner too.

The room we had included an electric kettle, central heating and an iron. The place had a family atmosphere. Location: the hotel was adjacent to the centre of Pocklington. Plus there was a lake, within 145 minutes walk or so.

Breakfast and service.
There was water damage to the ceiling in the room. The toilet was not always flushed.
